Chemdog marijuana seeds strain of weed whose origins are steeped in legend. Different variations of the same story can be found all over the web. Apparently Chemdog seeds are the grown on results of some particularly good weed purchased by a locally infamous grower and breeder, Chemdog, in the parking lot of a Grateful Dead concert in eastern USA in 1991 (hence it is also referred to as ’91).
The Chemdog seeds strain comes with a good reputation, and it thoroughly deserves it. Yields are massive. Kolas are huge and very dense, reaching up to 10-15cm (4-6 inches) in diameter. The plant responds particularly well to topping and this is said to increase yields dramatically. Because of the quantity and density of bud Chemdog cannabis is sometimes prone to mould or mildew, keep grow rooms well ventilated and humidity levels low. Despite its name Chemdog also responds well to organic methods.
Chemdog has a sour/sweet taste with lemony overtones. The smell is very strong and pungently skunky. The hit is immediate, long-lasting, strong and quite trippy with a body relaxant that may stick you to the couch for a while. One of the strongest and highest yielding strains available.
