‘Hasj Plant’ cannabis comes from an original cutting imported into the Netherlands from the USA during the 1980s. Dutch breeders crossed this with the famous Northern Lights #1 to produce the Hasj Plant as we know it. Credit for the Hasj Plant marijuana has been given here to Exodus, who won an award for it in 2008, but Hasj Plant seeds are widely available from a number of seed banks, most notably Sensi Seeds. Feminized Hasj plant seeds have been developed by Vulkania.
Hasj Plant cannabis is almost pure Indica, as can be seen from its squat bushy stature and heavy, resin laden buds. It will respond readily to all growing methods and is a dream to clone this weed. The hit is also pure Indica and smoking Hasj Plant weed is likely to lead to couch lock with its long lasting narcotic hit.
The taste of Hasj Plant weed is harsh and hashy, the smell isn’t particularly pleasant either. But Hasj Plant marijuana makes great breeding stock and it is an important contributor to many other hybrids.
