Originally ‘The Purps’ marijuana seed strain was available as a clone only among the medical marijuana community of the Mendocino Valley of Northern California. The Purps cannabis soon gained local notoriety as some kick-ass quality weed. The strain was bred out and stabilised by BC Bud who were the first to make The Purps cannabis seeds commercially available.
The Purps marijuana has the density and lushness of an Indica although she can grow to quite a size. She will stretch much more outdoors, where she will thrive happily. The Purps marijuana has been successfully cultivated outdoors as far north as British Columbia and so should be able to adapt to most climates.
The Purps weed has a beautiful purple colouring, becoming more defined towards the end of the flowering period, and from where she gets her name. She’s a reasonably robust and hardy plant and will respond to Sea Of Green techniques, although her lateral branching can be encouraged by super cropping to become more productive. Kolas can be quite hefty and come with a clean and spicy bouquet. The hit is clear and soaring; a euphoric high that is intense and thought provoking.
