420 – Platinum Jack Seeds

Platinum Jack from 420 Seeds is a sativa dominant hybrid that is a nod to possibly one of the greatest sativa strains out there; Jack Herer. What 420 have done here is cross a carefully selected Jack Herer pheno with a Big Bud X Skunk hybrid (known as Sweet Skunk).  Sweet Skunk, as you might guess, is known for her great sweet flavor, as well as the high yields associated with Big Bud. After this, 420 have crossed the resulting hybrid with a Haze male to ensure plenty of that Hazy sativa goodness. Platinum Jack grows like a sativa with rangy branches and long internodes. You may need to consider training her if space is an issue for you. Untrained the final plant will finish up at somewhere between 60" and 80" (150cm - 200cm). Topping and super cropping should be considered as standard in indoor situations, both to control the height and also to present the extensive production from lateral branching to your lights as an even canopy. Scrog systems are an excellent choice for this strain. Outdoor growers will need a good Mediterranean/Californian type climate to successfully grow Platinum Jack. If you are lucky enough to live in a climate like this you will be rewarded with some monster plants and top class yields. Platinum Jack smokes with a beautiful aroma that is a cross between sweet citrus and tangy mint. The flavor is fresh and floral like a true sativa. The smoke is expansive and big bong rips can be a challenge (challenge accepted!) The hit from Platinum Jack is exactly like you've been thinking it will be after reading this review; an uplifting and energizing high that is potent and long lasting. Although it's not Jack Herer, Platinum Jack is a fitting homage to that marijuana classic and is a strain that all you sativa fans should put on their 'to do' list.
