OG Kush cannabis seeds are another of those marijuana strains surrounded by myth and folklore. One story tells that the OG Kush cannabis strain is a direct descendent of the original Chemdog, others hint at some Lemon Thai in its ancestry.
Here’s what we know; OG Kush marijuana is definitely from southern California, probably the San Fernando Valley area, and the OG stands for ‘Ocean Grown’, referring to the Pacific Coast hydro farms where it came from, and apparently said in response to someone who thought it was so good because it was mountain grown.
Whatever the true provenance of OG Kush cannabis seeds, one thing is for sure; this is some kick-ass quality Kush weed. OG Kush cannabis seems to stretch a bit during veg but fills out nicely, forming a dense, bushy plant. She can be a bit fussy sometimes and is mostly recommended for more experienced growers. She has been developed for indoor set-ups so don’t even think of putting her outdoors unless you live in a tropical or semi-tropical climate.
OG Kush weed can have some quite disappointing yields, although these can be augmented by topping or super cropping. But what’s missing in the yield is more than made up for by the quality. OG Kush weed has a beautiful, sweet, earthy Kush flavour, and the knockout punch that Kush lovers love. The first rushy body waves can be quite intense and they’ll certainly get your heart racing. There is an energetic twist to the effects of OG Kush cannabis, but overall it’s blissfully lethargic Kush devastation.
