MSNL Gorilla Cookies Seeds Review

Gorilla Cookies Feminized

Any cannabis enthusiast worth their weight in hash should have heard of both Gorilla Glue and Girl Scout Cookies. Two of the most celebrated strains of the last decade, and for good reason.
So, it should come as anything but a surprise that there are a bunch of newer strains bred directly from these two new-school classics. Gorilla Cookies Seeds are the result of crossing Gorilla Glue #4 with Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies, and the result is somehow more than its parts. While the THC count isn’t going to break any records, this strain is still potent enough to make even the most seasoned stoner feel that punch that you expect with any gorilla variant. The terpene profile that builds on both the pungent, diesel-heavy stankiness of GG #4 and the more refined tones of Thin Mints GSC - Gorilla Cookies is a strain that should grace the bowls and papers of every cannabis connoisseur.

Look, Smell, and Taste

With slightly smaller flower development than some of the other recent top-shelf strains, maxing out at around a golf ball-sized offering, Gorilla Cookies' dense-as-anything buds are about as covered as strains come in this era. And while they may not be the largest buds known to man, they come absolutely covered in a fur coat of frosty trichomes.   The aroma is a true mix of GG #4 and Thin Mint GSC, with some new notes brought to the table. Pungent diesel and sweet, sour tones come in equal measure, while an underlying current of mint makes this one a real drawcard.   Tasting notes are along the same page, with opening notes of fuel and citrus, followed up by a minty and pine-filled mouth feel that also includes some awesome citrus freshness.

Effect

While Gorilla Cookies doesn't reach the lofty THC heights of GG #4, with a total THC count of 23 to 26% she is anything but a slouch. In fact, with such a high THC count, and a Sativa dominance in the 70/30% range, it's no surprise that Gorilla Cookies starts out with an uplifting and inspiring heady effect that will get you off the couch and get those creative and sociable juices flowing.   As the high runs its course, you'll notice that it slowly but surely morphs into a more relaxing and calming body high, and with that change comes waves of euphoria that allow for a level of calmness that is truly awe-inspiring.

Growing Tips

Tips are pretty much not needed here, as Gorilla Cookies is one of the easiest strains on the market to grow right now. Perfect for any level of horticultural expertise, and for pretty much any style of cultivation, this strain is a true high-yield, high-potency option.   We have had great success running her in both organic soil mixes and hydroponic setups. She seemingly does best in a coco-coir and can handle a slightly wider temperature range than many competing strains, making her a great option for outdoor cultivators.   She can reach in excess of 1.5 meters (around 5 feet), so if discretion is high on your list of needs, we recommend setting up a ScrOG screen so you can take full control of the height. This will also allow for much better light penetration and canopy airflow, on top of a more even distribution of energy, nutrient, and growth hormone to all the budding sites - which can boost the yield by up to 30%

The Wrap Up

Thanks to her lineage, effect, taste, and how easy she is to grow, Gorilla Cookies has quickly gained cult status. A beautiful strain, with a purely top-shelf genetic pedigree, and one of the best-smelling and tasting offerings currently being sold - Gorilla Cookies should be on your list of must-try strains in 2023.
